PRISTINA, Feb 23 (Hina) - The Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe's Kosovo Verification Mission (KVM) on Tuesday made a harsh protest with Yugoslav authorities due to the latest acts of hostility and aggression on the
part of the Yugoslav army and police against KVM members. The KVM said in a note its members had been harassed in at least nine separate incidents in the last four days. In some cases, the forces of the Yugoslav Interior Ministry and the army were directly involved, while Serbian civilians took part in other ones. The Interior Ministry took no steps to protect or control the verifiers, the note said. In the most serious incident, two armed policemen in uniform assaulted KVM personnel, the note further said. The KVM assessed the behaviour of Yugoslav security forces was unacceptable and demanded that the Yugoslav government investigate, identify, and punish those responsible.(hina
