ZAGREB, Feb 19 (Hina) - Liberal Party (LS) president Vlado Gotovac on Friday gave the attorney of two Zagrebacka Bank employees who disclosed the foreign currency account of the Croatian President's wife a petition with 57,000
signatures expressing moral support and civic solidarity. Zagrebacka Bank employee Ankica Lepej last October disclosed the state of Ankica Tudjman's foreign currency account, while Robert Horvat confirmed to reporters the correctness of Lepej's information. The signing of the petition, called "For Croatia - Country of Honourable Citizens", began on November 2, 1998, and was initiated by the LS. "I believe these signatures are for the truth, not for mine, because I already knew it, but for yours," Lepej said in gratitude for the support.
