MOSTAR BEING CAPITAL OF BOSNIAN FEDERATION MOSTAR, Feb 17 (Hina) - Commissioner of the German government in charge of the return of Bosnia-Herzegovina refugees accommodated in Germany, Hans Koschnik, on Wednesday endorsed the idea
that Mostar should become the capital of the Croat-Moslem federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina. I hope Mostar will become the capital of the Bosnian federation as the international community had envisaged, Koschnik said after talks with town officials. He added he was prepared to provide assistance in the realisation of the idea, and added that this was one of the reasons for Wednesday's talks with Mayor Ivan Prskalo and deputy Mayor Safet Orucevic. Last year the Madrid conference set several conditions for Mostar to fulfil in order to become the capital of the Bosnian entity, among which are uniting the town administration and the reconstruction of the historic town centre.(hina) lml
