EUROPEAN COMMISSION TO FULFIL ITS COMMITMENTS TOWARD BOSNIA

SARAJEVO, Feb 17 (Hina) - The European Commission (EC) last year committed itself to offering the substantial financial backing for different projects of the reconstruction in Bosnia-Herzegovina, and such decision will not be changed in any way by the EC engagement in the resolution of the crisis in Kosovo, an EC spokesman, Ivo Ilic Gabara, told Hina in Sarajevo,. The German government's special envoy for the refugee return and Bosnia's reconstruction, Hanns Koschnik, told a news conference on Tuesday that a part of the means which had been provided for Bosnia would be re-allocated for Kosovo, depending on results of the Kosovo peace conference in Rambouillet. As regards the European Commission, I can say that no changes will be made in the allocation of means for Bosnia, Ilic told the Hina correspondent.
