ZAGREB, Feb 15 (Hina) - The Croatian Interior Ministry has no information on the arrest of Croatian citizens in Italy, on which the Italian police reported on Monday. According to Ministry spokesman Slavko Raka, the Ministry has not
been officially notified about the arrest, nor has any other knowledge about the case. The Udine, north-eastern Italy, police reported that three Croatian citizens, suspected of trading weapons, were recently arrested in Italy. According to the Italian police, the smugglers were arrested while transporting weapons originating from Croatian Army stocks and intended for the underground. According to the same source, two of the smugglers were arrested about 20 days ago, while transporting a machine gun and about 100 shells, while the third was arrested several days ago in the Monfalcone, northern Adriatic, shipyard.(hina) it jn/ha
