INTERNATIONAL REPS CONDEMN TRAVNIK INCIDENT

MOSTAR, Feb 10 (Hina) - International representatives operating in southern Bosnia-Herzegovina on Wednesday unanimously condemned Tuesday night's bomb explosion, which occurred in the central Bosnian town of Travnik, seriously injuring a Croat policeman. Expressing concern about the last night's incident, head of the Mostar regional office of the High Representative in BH, Chris Riley, requested the judicial authorities in the Central Bosnia Canton to present investigation results as soon as possible. The Presidency of the Croatian Democratic Union of Bosnia- Herzegovina (HDZ BiH) described the incident as an act of terrorism and organised political crime. The way in which "the attempted murder of (the policeman) Vlado Stojak was carried out, and earlier terrorist actions in central Bosnia, are a proof of systematic and organised political crime against central Bosnia Croats", the HDZ BiH said in a statement. The Presidency believes that the incident was an example of violence "aimed at preventing co-existence in central Bosnia and the return of Croats, by systematically inducing anxiety and insecurity".
