ZAGREB, Jan 31 (Hina) - A strong gale which has been blowing since yesterday is impeding ferry traffic in Croatia on Sunday. The ferry services from the mainland toward islands of Pag, Rab and Cres are still not functioning, the
Croatian Auto Club reported on Sunday morning. Ferry boats have not been able to sail between Makarska and Brac as well as between Drvenik and Hvar (central Adriatic coast) for two days. Ferry boats are sailing between islands Krk and Cres. The Masleninca bridge is still being closed for traffic due to the strong wind. Roads are wet, icy and somewhere covered by snow in Gorski Kotar and Lika (central Croatia). Drivers should take heed to weather conditions and drive slowly and carefully throughout Croatia.
