islands of Pag, Cres and Rab was not functioning during the day. The Maslenica bridge has been closed for traffic due to the strong wind. Ferry traffic between Makarska (central Dalmatia) and the island of Brac is still not functioning. The weather service in Makarska said the wind was blowing at 90 kmph, causing damage to power transmission lines in the region. Weather services have also reported unusually low temperatures in the coastal region and on islands.
