SARAJEVO/BANJA LUKA, Jan 27 (Hina) - A professor of the Economy Faculty in Banja Luka, Mladen Ivanic, refused any possibility to accept a mandate for the new government of the Bosnian Serb entity of Republika Srpska, Bosnian Serb
radio in Banja Luka reported Wednesday. Ivanic said in the present situation, any kind of an agreement among political factors was impossible, especially among opposed Serb nationalist political blocs. Ivanovic's name came up as a new mandatary as soon as the RS Parliament on Monday dismissed the programme and government formation as suggested by Brano Miljus. According to the RS Constitution, President Poplasen is obliged to suggest a new mandatary within ten days. The current Prime Minister, Milorad Dodik, still the only candidate of the "Sloga" coalition for a new mandate, announced he would travel to the United States on Saturday to hold talks with US state officials.
