Foreign Minister Mate Granic on Monday received Albania's Ambassador to Croatia Miriam Bisha. Bisha informed Granic about the dramatic deterioration of the situation in the conflict-ridden south Yugoslav province of Kosovo, and about tensions on the Albanian-Yugoslav border. The Ambassador in particular focused on the recent crimes against Kosovo Albanian civilians committed by Serbian authorities in the village of Racak. On behalf of the Croatian government, Granic most harshly condemned the Serbian authorities' crime, and expressed shock at the crimes committed against Racak's civilians.
