Freedoms reported. According to the source, the Yugoslav Army is shelling the villages of Reqak, Monopolce and Petrovo, 35km south of Pristina, from a hill near the village of Shtimlje. The infantry is trying to enter the villages whose residents are escaping in mass. The Shtimlje-Prizren road is blocked and members of the Organisation for Security and Cooperation (OSCE) Verification Mission headed towards that area. Serb police reported in the meantime that its units had blocked the village of Reqak to arrest members of an armed group of Kosovo Albanians, suspected of attacking a Serb police patrol and murdering one Serb five days ago.(hina) it/ha
