SARAJEVO, Jan 10 (Hina) - On Saturday night, Bosnian Serbs attacked +a station of the International Police Task Force (IPTF) in Foca, +eastern Bosnia, in retaliation for the killing of Dragan Gagovic.+ Gagovic was killed on Saturday

SARAJEVO, Jan 10 (Hina) - On Saturday night, Bosnian Serbs attacked
a station of the International Police Task Force (IPTF) in Foca,
eastern Bosnia, in retaliation for the killing of Dragan Gagovic.
Gagovic was killed on Saturday during an operation carried out by
the Nato-led Stabilisation Force (SFOR) when Nato soldiers
attempted to arrest this Bosnian Serb charged with war crimes.
UN spokeswoman in Sarajevo, Frederike Seidel, told Hina on Sunday
that about 200 people had surrounded the IPTF station in Foca on
Saturday evening and attacked policemen who happened to be in the
building.
Two IPTF policemen were hurt, and one of them needed the medical aid
which he received later, Seidel said.
IPTF members estimated that their lives were in peril and asked SFOR
to intervene.
Immediately after they were called to help, SFOR soldiers arrived
in Foca and evacuated IPTF members from the surrounded police
station to an SFOR base, Seidel added.
