ZAGREB, Dec 23 (Hina) - A Croatian society for the protection and promotion of human rights will forward a request to the ICTY (International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia) and to the UN Security Council for the
replacement and exemption of the ICTY Chief Prosecutor Carla del Ponte. This society issued a statement on Saturday, explaining that it would ask del Ponte's replacement and exclusion owing to her flagrant violation of the UN Charter. This non-governmental organisation will instigate procedure against the Tribunal's Chief Prosecutor, as it believes that del Ponte has given "petty-political statements which have disturbed the Croatian, European and world public". It also accuses del Ponte of denying and insulting fundamental human rights, dignity and reputation of man and of not civilised treatment of a UN member-state. The society, chaired by Nikola Muslim, will take other necessary
