"General Stipetic will give an interview to the Hague investigators
and for the establishment of truth that can only be good," he told
reporters after meeting Norway's Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg.
According to Croatian Radio, Mesic told the press he and
Stoltenberg among else discussed economic cooperation between the
two countries.
Both assessed shipbuilding and tourism were the two main branches
on which the entire Croatian-Norwegian economic cooperation could
first be improved.
Stoltenberg said Norway supported the development of democracy in
Croatia, considering it a role model for the other countries in the
region.
He also said that for the time being, the visa regime for Croatian
citizens stayed in force, and that for it to be lifted the
Scandinavian states should coordinate.
