ZAGREB, Dec 6 (Hina) - Ninoslav Pavic, a co-owner of the Europa Press Holding publishing company, was transferred from the Remetinec county court prison, where he was in detention, to the prison infirmary due to a poor health
condition, Pavic's attorney Vesna Alaburic said on Wednesday. Nothing 'alarming' happened, Pavic has been transferred to the prison hospital due to diabetes he has been suffering from for 25 years, Alaburic told Hina. "His condition is poor anyway and he needs regular medical check-ups," she said. Pavic is one of the persons the police arrested on Monday under suspicion of association to commit a criminal act. The arrests came after the 'Republika' daily published the copy of a secret partnership agreement on taking over control of the Croatian media space. After they were questioned, investigating judge Zoran Luburic ordered 48-hour detention for Pavic and Vinko Grubisic. Anoth
ZAGREB, Dec 6 (Hina) - Ninoslav Pavic, a co-owner of the Europa

Remetinec county court prison, where he was in detention, to the
prison infirmary due to a poor health condition, Pavic's attorney
Vesna Alaburic said on Wednesday.

years, Alaburic told Hina. "His condition is poor anyway and he

Pavic is one of the persons the police arrested on Monday under
suspicion of association to commit a criminal act. The arrests came
after the 'Republika' daily published the copy of a secret
partnership agreement on taking over control of the Croatian media
space.
After they were questioned, investigating judge Zoran Luburic
ordered 48-hour detention for Pavic and Vinko Grubisic. Another
suspect, Miroslav Kutle, has been in prison since February this
year and is on trial for causing damage worth some $5.25 million to
Croatia's largest press distributor 'Tisak.'
The three men and a still unidentified person by the name of Hrvoje
Franjic, who Republika claims is politician Ivic Pasalic, are
charged as the perpetrators.
The other five suspects, Obiteljski Radio director Juraj Hrvacic,
Globus Holding director Ivan Majic, 'Globus' weekly co-owner
Zdravko Jurak, Globus Grupa attorney Drazen Mandic and 'Dastra'
company director Antun Crlenjak were released after a hearing. They
are charged with aiding the suspected perpetrators.
Judge Luburic said the Zagreb County State Prosecutor's Office has
not submitted an investigating request against the suspects yet.
