ZAGREB, Nov 30 (Hina) - Petar Pripuz, a brother of one of the 14 indictees of organised crime, currently undergoing trial in Zagreb, filed perjury charges against a protected witness, Tomislav Marinac, who took the witness stand
Wednesday. During the heading Wednesday, Marinac said he had head from indictee Hrvoje Gasparinac and the wife of an indictee, Rajko Momcilovic, that Petar Pripuz was paying fees for defence attorneys of five of the defendants; Nikica Jelavic, Miljenko Zaja, Tajko and Velibor Momcilovic, and Davor Zecevic. Pripuz dismissed Marinac's claims, saying the witness had committed perjury. He filed charges before the State Prosecutor's Office through attorney Rajko Mlinaric, who is, incidentally, one of the defence attorneys in the trial against "Zagreb mobsters".(hina) lml
