ZAGREB, Nov 29 (Hina) - The Humanitarian Network of Croatia, the first registered network of non-governmental organisations (NGOs) in Croatia, is celebrating the fifth anniversary of its work. On this occasion, the assembly of the
Humanitarian Network of Croatia will convene on December 1, the network's Main Committee chairwoman, Jelena Brajsa, said on Wednesday. During last five years this association gathering 50 societies, conducted and co-ordinated the implementation of four national programmes. It initiated, organised and hosted the first international congress of humanitarian and similar societies of the Danube basin countries, Slovenia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Macedonia and many societies and agencies from Croatia. This congress was held under the auspices of Croatian President Stjepan Mesic last October. The central ceremony will take place on the premises of Caritas, Zagreb, at 11.0

On this occasion, the assembly of the Humanitarian Network of
Croatia will convene on December 1, the network's Main Committee

Croatian senior governmental officials are expected to attend the
