ZAGREB, Nov 28 (Hina) - Croatia's President Stjepan Mesic on Monday evening held talks with US entrepreneurs and representatives of the Croatian coastal city of Split on a project of reconstruction of the city port and the building of
a few hotels. This project is worth 500 million US dollars. According to a statement released by the President's Office, the delegation presented the first version of the project the implementation of which would take five or six years. Five to seven thousand construction workers can be employed in the implementation of the entire plan and this may mark a new page in the development of Split, read the statement.
