ZAGREB, Nov 25 (Hina) - Deposits in commercial banks have continued to increase whereas loans to companies are stagnating, reads the latest issue of the Croatian National Bank Bulletin. According to the bulletin, foreign currency
deposits in late September amounted to 44.3 billion kuna whereas kuna deposits amounted to 7.5 billion. According to relative indicators, the monthly value trend of foreign currency deposits amounts to 7.4 percent and of kuna deposits 20.1 percent as against September last year. According to the maturity structure, most deposits are still predominantly tied. Loans to companies are still stagnating - the monthly rate this year is - 0.8 percent and the trend value this September was eight percent lower than in the same month last year.
