WASHINGTON WASHINGTON, Nov 20 (Hina) - The city of Zagreb and United States Exim Bank on Monday in Washington signed a memorandum on understanding in line with which future cooperation in the financing the development of
infrastructure in Zagreb, as well as other projects requiring American products and services, would be carried out. The memorandum was signed by Zagreb deputy mayor Mladen Vilfan and member of the EXIM bank Vanessa Weaver. We are expressing our increased trust to Croatia and orientation to expand loan support to investments to Croatia, Weaver said. According to her, the bank was interested in the promotion of investments to tourism, railways, ports, power industry, health and agricultural and food-processing industry. Vilfan said Zagreb was only one o 30 cities in the world that has an agreement with Exim. Zagreb wishes that United Sates companies be present at the market. (hina) it
