SARAJEVO, Nov 20 (Hina) - The Zagreb Summit is a clear sign that the Stability Pact in South-East Europe is entering a new phase, Bosnia's Ambassador to Croatia, Hasan Muratovic, told Monday's issue of Sarajevo's 'Dnevni avaz' daily.
"It is obvious that a south-east European core is being formed, with the purpose to help the regulation of mutual relations and establish a level at which it will be possible to speak about association with the European Union," Muratovic said. Bosnia's delegation at the Zagreb Summit will include Bosnia's three-man presidency - Zivko Radisic, Halid Genjac and Ante Jelavic, Foreign Minister Jadranko Prlic, and Ambassador Muratovic. SARAJEVO, Nov 20 (Hina) - The Zagreb Summit is a clear sign that the
Stability Pact in South-East Europe is entering a new phase,
Bosnia's Ambassador to Croatia, Hasan Muratovic, told Monday's
issue of Sarajevo's 'Dnevni avaz' daily.
"It is obvious that a south-east European core is being formed, with
the purpose to help the regulation of mutual relations and
establish a level at which it will be possible to speak about
association with the European Union," Muratovic said.
Bosnia's delegation at the Zagreb Summit will include Bosnia's
three-man presidency - Zivko Radisic, Halid Genjac and Ante
Jelavic, Foreign Minister Jadranko Prlic, and Ambassador
Muratovic.
The Bosnian delegation at the Zagreb Summit will have at least four
bilateral meetings, including talks with the Croatian and Yugoslav
presidents Stipe Mesic and Vojislav Kostunica, Muratovic said.
The Bosnian side has insisted that the Zagreb resolution contain as
many concrete proposals with defined deadlines as possible.
It is already certain that this document will set as a task the
urgent and unconditional establishment of diplomatic relations
between Bosnia-Herzegovina and Yugoslavia although it is not
certain that a deadline for this to be done will be set as well,
Muratovic said.
Prior to his visit to Zagreb, Yugoslav Foreign Minister Goran
Svilanovic will visit Sarajevo on Wednesday. The purpose of the
visit is the establishment of diplomatic relations.
Bosnian officials believe it is important that the Zagreb Summit
will also tackle the process of succession to the former Yugoslav
federation on the basis of the new Yugoslav authorities' stand that
all former Yugoslav republics are equal successors to the former
federation.
