ZAGREB, Nov 13 (Hina) - Croatia's First Deputy Prime Minister, Goran Granic, on Monday received a delegation of the European Council on Refugees and Exiles (ECRE), the Government's public relations office reported. Granic and ECRE
representatives discussed the process of the return of refugees and displaced persons. He informed them of measures the Croatian Government had taken in the implementation of programmes for the return as well as of amendments to the laws on the areas of the special state concern and on reconstruction. First Deputy PM said everybody had the right to opt either for staying in place where they lived or for the return to pre-war homes and added that the Croatian Constitution protected the private property.
