LONDON/ZAGREB, Nov 9 (Hina) - Croatian chief deputy foreign minister Goran Granic on Thursday held talks with British Defence Secretary Geoffrey Hoon, informing him about the structure and imminent reorganisation of the Croatian Armed
Forces and Defence Ministry, the Government's Public Relations Office said in a statement. Granic, who has been on an official visit to Great Britain since Wednesday, exchanged views with Hoon about the promotion of cooperation in military education. Hoon confirmed that one seat had been reserved for a representative from Croatia at Britain's most prominent military academy -- the Royal College of Defence Studies. He offered assistance in relaying experiences in the process of the restructuring of armed forces and the retraining of military personnel into civil staff. The two officials exchanged views on the situation in the region and cooperation within NATO programmes.

During the morning Granic spoke with the director of a renowned
financial institution Regent Europe, Lord Lang of Monkkon. The
institution is interested in investments into Croatia.
Granic applauded Regent Europe's interest in Croatia, expressing
satisfaction with initiated activities and wish for an increased
presence of British companies in Croatian economy.
