ZAGREB, Nov 2 (Hina) - All persons who were in any way connected to the arrest of Abu-Tala'at, the ideologist of the Egyptian terrorist organisation Gama'a Al-Islamiyya, in Zagreb five years ago, are under police protection 24 four
hours a day and the Service for the Protection of the Constitutional Order has been checking the information on terrorist threats to Croatia, 'Vecernji list' daily reported on Thursday. Last Tuesday the daily carried a statement by a member of the terrorist organisation to the Lebanese paper Al-Bilad saying that "Croatia will burn from car bombs" unless it is stated what happened to Abu-Tala'at, whose disappeared in Zagreb in 1995. Abu-Tala'at was arrested for failing to register his residence in Croatia and a magistrates' court fined him DM40 and ordered that he be banished from Croatia.(hina) rml
