his Polish counterpart Alexander Kwasniewski on Saturday opened a new, DM32 million-worth Podravka food industry plant for the production of 'vegeta' food additive, soups and powdered products in Poland's Kostrzyn. The factory, which is located in the Kostrzynsko-Slubicka free trade zone, near the German-Polish border, covers 11,000 square metres and will employ 180 workers. Speaking at the opening ceremony, which was attended by numerous Polish and Croatian politicians and business people, President Mesic said the system of free trade zones had to be present more both in Croatia and Poland because free trade zones offered employment. After we join the European Union, these factories will have been operating successfully for some time and they will place the
