JACQUES KLEIN VISITS CENTRAL BOSNIA CANTON

TRAVNIK, Oct 19 (Hina) - UN Secretary-General's special envoy for Bosnia-Herzegovina, Jacques Klein, who on Thursday visited Central Bosnia Canton, expressed satisfaction with the situation in the canton, its integrated judicial system, police structure and its single budget. He said the canton could serve as an example for other cantons, including the Croat-Muslim Federation leadership. Klein believed the canton would continue successfully solving other open problems, such as the reorganisation of the town of Travnik into a community of municipalities and the prosecution of crimes committed against local Croat population, a problem he discussed today with judicial authorities and canton leaders.
