ZAGREB, Oct 17 (Hina) - The Privredna Banka Zagreb (PBZ) on Tuesday
presented a new service - on-line payment operations and account
checking for those holding accounts at the PBZ. #L#
The new service is called PBZ365ŽNET, i.e. Internet banking.
The holders of current, kuna, foreign currency and drawing accounts
and authorised persons will be able to check the status of their
accounts, transfer money from one account to another and pay
various bills from any computer with access to the Internet.
Internet banking enables a maximum safe access to bank accounts 24
four hours a day, seven days a week, from any place in the world.
Apart from enabling clients to pay their bills fee-free (the
payment of PBZ loans, the payment of bills made with American
Express cards, the payment of bills to the companies with which the
PBZ has signed such contracts etc.), this service also reduces the
commission for regular banking services.
PBZ365ŽNET should soon include another service - the sale and
purchase of foreign currency and fixed-term depositing.
According to the head of PBZ's Sector for Information Technology,
Zoran Simunic, the service has been developed in cooperation with
strategic partners, IBM and Oracle companies, with which new
projects are being prepared.
One of those projects - enabling small and medium-sized
entrepreneurs to perform their overall business activities by
using PBZ Internet banking - is being developed.
