ZAGREB, Oct 14 (Hina) - Croatian Minister in charge of war veterans, Ivica Pancic, told the Croatian Radio and Television (HRT) on late Friday night that there were more important issues and tasks than a discussion on the Croatian
Homeland Defence War. First of all, those (issues) are the establishment of a law-based state, a democratic system and what is of the key importance is the economic progress, Minister Pancic explained. "It should be clear to everybody that without the economic development and creation of new jobs no problem in the Croatian society will be resolved," Pancic said assessing that "the promotion of these values helps promote in the best way the Homeland War." The Croatian national parliament on Friday night adopted a declaration on the Homeland War in order to thwart the radical politicisation of that war and the worrying polarisation of the society.(hina) ms
