ZAGREB IN NOV. - SAYS HHO ZAGREB, Oct 6 (Hina) - A Croatian Helsinki Committee for Human Rights (HHO) initiative that non-governmental organisations from Southeast Europe and European Union countries convene for a summit in Zagreb was
okayed by EU representatives on Friday. The summit is to take place on November 22-23 under the organisation of the HHO and the International Helsinki Federation, the HHO said in a statement. The summit will precede an official conference which is to gather statesmen from Southeast Europe and the EU. HHO president Izet Aganovic and executive secretary Tin Gazivoda today held talks with France's Ambassador to Croatia Albert Tutor and the head of the European Commission delegation in Croatia, Per Vinther. Turot and Vinther supported the HHO initiative. The talks also addressed other HHO activities directed at the protection of every citizen's human rights.(hina) ha jn
