RIJEKA, Oct 6 (Hina) - Rijeka County Court investigation judge Sajonara Culina on Friday heard two witnesses, members of the Interior Ministry, in an investigation procedure against Tihomir Oreskovic and another four resident of the
central Croatian town of Gospic suspected of war crimes against civilians in Gospic region in 1991. Defence attorneys said neither former nor today's witnesses said anything it would cause damage to their clients and expressed a belief that the investigation procedure should be discontinued. Sajonara Culina on Friday heard two witnesses, members of the
Interior Ministry, in an investigation procedure against Tihomir
Oreskovic and another four resident of the central Croatian town of
Gospic suspected of war crimes against civilians in Gospic region
in 1991.
Defence attorneys said neither former nor today's witnesses said
anything it would cause damage to their clients and expressed a
belief that the investigation procedure should be discontinued.

Attorney Branko Dumnacic said that witnesses gave statements

Regarding protected witnesses, proposed by the prosecution,
Dumancic said he expected them to testify next week, definitely in
the County Court, and added the defence should be told about their
