ANDABAK'S ATTORNEY UNABLE TO FIND CLIENT'S WHEREABOUTS

ZAGREB, Sept 12 (Hina) - The attorney of Croatian Army General Ivan Andabak, arrested on Tuesday in line with a request from the war crimes tribunal in The Hague, told Croatian Television late in the evening he was unable to find out his client's whereabouts at the moment nor who had arrested him. Attorney Kresimir Krsnik said that after learning about Andabak's arrest, he tried to find out about his whereabouts, namely which police department he was in. Andabak was a close associate of Mladen Naletilic Tuta, indicted by and awaiting trial at UN's war crimes tribunal on charges of war crimes committed in southern Bosnia-Herzegovina. Defence Minister Jozo Rados confirmed earlier in the evening that "General Ivan Andabak has been arrested, in connection with a request from The Hague tribunal." (hina) ha
