YET ANOTHER SHIP OF 'CROATIA LINE' SOLD BY COURT ORDER

RIJEKA, Sept 11 (Hina) - A ship "Karlobag" of the Rijeka-based bankrupt shipping company "Croatia Line" was sold by court order in the seatown of Rijeka on Monday. A Maltese company Cunters Navigation "Malta" bought it for 2,250,000 dollars. This is by 150,000 dollars more than the estimated value prior to the purchase. The Croatia Line company's debt to the "Viktor Lenac" shipyard comes over $800,000. The debt was incurred for overhauls and the berth in the two years. In addition, sailors and the Rijecka Bank also registered their claims at the court. The sailors ask for a sum of 100,000 dollars for their salaries and they should get the money in the coming days. On 28 September a ship "Hreljin" will be put on a sale by court order. Its value is estimated to be 1.1 million dollars, whereas the starting price will be $750,000.
