According to the UNHCR, the attack in Atambui was the harshest individual tragedy of the personnel of this global organisation. President Mesic informed Ogata of the steps the Croatian Authorities took in the filed of the return of refugees and displaced persons. He added he expected the international community to financially help the realisation of the plans. Ogata expressed satisfaction about Croatia's so far achievements on the humanitarian plan.
