SISAK, Sept 6 (Hina) - President of the Croatian Mine Centre (HCR) Council Drazen Budisa and HCR head Damir Gorseta on Wednesday held talks with representatives of the United Nations Mine Action Assistance Programme (UNMAAP) and the
Western European Union Demining Assistance Mission (WEUDAM), international organisations engaged in mine removal projects in Croatia. According to a HCR statement, heads of the missions Richard Todd (UNMAAP) and Bengt-Ake Gelin (WEUDAM) informed Budisa of the so far activities of their organisations in Croatia and cooperation with the HCR. They announced further cooperation particularly in the building of international operational standards and mine removal processes, as well as raising foreign donations earmarked for anti-mine action in Croatia.
