VARAZDIN, Aug 19 (Hina) - The Varazdin police reported on Saturday that 22 illegal emigrees had been discovered during a police check-up in a van in Novi Marof, northern Croatia, yesterday afternoon. The emigrees, who did not have any
identification papers, were discovered in a van bearing Cakovec registration plates, driven by N.R. (aged 24), a Croatian national. The emigrees and the driver were taken to the police station in Novi Marof, where it was established that 20 of them were Iraqi nationals, including seven children, while two were Yugoslav nationals.
