MAKARSKA, Aug 4 (Hina) - A recently spotted lost baby whale, 12

The two huge sea mammals most probably belong to the species of the
great whale and are completely harmless for humans so there is no
room for panic, experts said. They feed on plankton and small fish
and they most probably arrived to the Adriatic from the Ligurian
Sea.
"Several times I came really close to the whale with my boat which is
5 metres long and the whale's tale was twice as long as my boat",
said Dominko Kumric from Igrana, one of the persons who saw the
whale. The huge sea giant was not afraid of the boat. After a short
while, I headed off to the land, and the whale continued to float,
following the boat, Kumric said.
The whale is most likely the mother of the baby whale, the Makarska
Information centre reported.
There is no room for fear or panic, the centre stressed, because
this good-natured sea giant feeds only on plankton and small fish
and is completely harmless for humans.
The Centre also warned the owners of boats and yachts not to disturb
the whales in order for them to be able to find their way out of the
Makarska waters.
