ZAGREB, Aug 2 (Hina) - The Croatian Information Centre reported that a whale, ten to 12 metres long, was spotted near the southern Adriatic town of Makarska at 11.25AM Wednesday.

The Centre informed the Natural Science Museum in Zagreb, whose
experts said the whale was most likely a baby whale of the "great
whale" which came to the Adriatic from the Ligurian Sea.
According to them, the big whale feeds on plankton and it is
harmless for humans.
