Commenting on the situation in Montenegro, Mesic said he supported
the Montenegrin government in its efforts to take its own path
toward Europe.
Speaking about the possibility of a new conflict in the region due
to changes to the Yugoslav constitution, Mesic said the
international community would tolerate no new 'war adventure'
after the NATO campaign in Kosovo.
"Milosevic can now expect a crisis in Serbia and he won't be able to
control it any more," Mesic said.
Meta today also met the chairman of the Parliament's Committee on
Foreign Affairs, Zdravko Tomac.
