Defence Minister Jozo Rados, who is in the Croatian visiting delegation, said the purpose of the scheduled talks with Israeli Deputy Defence Minister Ephraim Sneh and tour to the Israeli military industry was to make the situation more clear and contribute to the Croatian-Israeli military cooperation. In this context, Rados explained that the other option might be the purchase of U.S fighters of the Phantom type. He reiterated that the final decision on the issue would be taken by the end of this year so that means for this purpose could be projected in a 2001 budget. (hina) ms
