ZAGREB, July 26 (Hina) - Due to the need for obtaining more detailed information, the Croatian government on Wednesday decided after a lengthy debate to postpone discussions on a report on the situation in shipyards, a strategy of
reorganisation and modernisation of the Croatian Railway (HZ) and the Sisak Ironworks, and the operation of the Croatian Oil Company (INA) for its next session, to be held after the summer break. The government adopted a report on the course of drawing up a strategy of Croatia's development, entitled "Croatia in the 21st Century", as well as a draft memo on cooperation with the foundation "Open Society - Croatia" within a project on the strategy of Croatia's development. The government also adopted decisions on the cessation of operation of the Centre for Strategic Studies and Research and the establishment of the Office for the Development Strategy of the Republic of Croatia. The government adopted a report on the course of drawing up a
strategy of Croatia's development, entitled "Croatia in the 21st
Century", as well as a draft memo on cooperation with the foundation

Croatia's development.
The government also adopted decisions on the cessation of operation
of the Centre for Strategic Studies and Research and the
establishment of the Office for the Development Strategy of the
Republic of Croatia.
Adopted was also a draft agreement on legal assistance regarding
Croatia's lawsuit against the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia
before the International Court of Justice. The government gave
consent for First Deputy Prime Minister Goran Granic to sign a new
contract with the law firm Latham & Watkins and the law firm Nobilo &
Associates regarding the defence of general Tihomir Blaskic before
the Hague war crimes tribunal.
