PETRINJA PETRINJA, July 25 (Hina) - Croatia's President Stjepan Mesic on Tuesday commenced his visit to the town of Petrinja and the residential area of Moscenica (about 50 kilometres south-east of Zagreb) with a tour to the refugee
settlement "Dumace" where some 300 Croats, who fled their hometown Letnica in Kosovo, have found shelter. Of those refugees, 130 are kids old from one to 16 years. Their priest, Rev. Pasko Glasnovic, informed President Mesic and his aides of the situation the Croat refugees are faced with. They are jobless, do not receive any financial assistance, and are fed by stuffs from humanitarian packages, but what they would like to get is the permanent accommodation, Rev. Glasnovic said.
