Considering that Croatia this year chairs the Working Community of
Danube basin countries, Cvjetkovic Kurelec said one of Croatia's
priorities was a clean and navigable Danube.
We have seen the pictures of a destroyed Vukovar and I believe
Strel's efforts should be supported because we want peace for
Vukovar and all Danube basin countries, Peterle said.
Strel, who continues the marathon tomorrow toward Novi Sad, in
Yugoslavia, should reach the Danube's estuary in 50 days.
