States Ambassador to Croatia William Montgomery and
representatives of the American Bar Association - Central and
Eastern Europe Legal Initiative (ABA - CEELI), the Croatian

Minister Ivanisevic and his associates introduced the United

During the talks, judge O'Connor strongly supported bills of
amendments to laws regulating judiciary.
The United States delegation welcomed active cooperation of the
Croatian Government with the International Criminal Tribunal for
the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) and recognised Minister Ivanisevic's
contribution to the process, the statement read.
Judge O'Connor offered help of United States experts to the
Croatian Government in the field of education and management, which
the Croatian party gladly accepted.
The ABA - CEELI Office is active in Croatia, and is already
participating in assisting several projects, and the cooperation
is to be strengthen, said ABA - CEELI Office president Mark Ellis,
