ZAGREB MONEY MARKET ZAGREB, June 20 (Hina) - A record-low turnover in overnight transactions at the Zagreb Money Market was reported again last week. Last Friday, the turnover amounted to a mere 90.32 million kuna, which is the lowest
turnover since the beginning of operation of the inter-bank market. This is the consequence of high liquidity of market participants. Overnight turnover in the same period amounted on the average to 143.88 million kuna, which is almost 21 percent less than the week before. Between 129 and 190 million kuna could not be issued in overnight transactions. Although daily turnover increased last week by almost 39 percent, amounting on the average to 13.88 million kuna, the money market was oversaturated with offer and there was a lack of demand in daily transactions as well, which blocked trade and money circulation. The best example of this situation is the daily turnover realised last Tuesda
