ZAGREB, July 3 (Hina) - The company Ericsson Nikola Tesla on July 1 put into operation a new GSM network in Montenegro. The contract, worth DM25 million, was carried out on time, in a very short period, as it had been signed with the
Montenegrin Telecom in February this year, Ericsson Nikola Tesla representatives reported. Although Ericsson Nikola Tesla has so far realised several mobile communication projects in the country and abroad, this is the company's most complex and most modern GSM project. The project covers almost all major cities in Montenegro, the country's coastal region and main traffic directions. After the completion of the second stage of the project, in late August, this GSM network will cover 90 percent of the population.
