ZAGREB, June 15 (Hina) - During a recent stay of United States marines from US Navy ship "Eisenhower" in the southern Adriatic town of Dubrovnik, there was no organised prostitution, Dubrovnik-Neretva police said. This was stated in a
response of the Croatian Government to MP Ante Kovacevic of the Croatian Christian Democratic Union (HKDU) who expressed interest in events in Dubrovnik during the stay of US marines. The Government told Kovacevic there were no confirmation of claims on the arrival of "ladies" in Dubrovnik on several buses. During the stay of US marines, several buses of foreign tourists arrived in Dubrovnik, men and women who cannot be connected with prostitution, read the Government's response.
