ZAGREB, June 29 (Hina) - Croatia's Minister for European
Integration Ivan Jakovcic and associates on Thursday discussed
Croatia's integration with European institutions and the
possibilities the integration would offer French investors with
representatives of MEDEF, a French employers' association, and
MIESE, an inter-ministerial mission to Southeast Europe.
According to a statement from the European Integration Ministry,
Jakovcic said Croatia would advocate an individual approach in
integrating with European structures to step up the process.
He added Zagreb had all assumptions to be the leading city and
centre in Southeast Europe.
Representatives of MEDEF and MIESE were interested in projects in
connection with the establishment of road, railway, and computer
infrastructures in Croatia.
French Ambassador Albert Turot said it was important for Croatia to
join the world's market and computer courses, adding France would
extend its support, especially in specialising state
administration employees.
Representatives of MEDEF and MIESE concluded the visit to Croatia
had been successful, saying all forms of cooperation with Croatia
would be upgraded during France's presiding of the European Union.
