ZAGREB JULY 5-7 ZAGREB, June 28 (Hina) - The Croatian World Congress (HSK) will hold its fourth convention in Zagreb between July 5 and 7, the general secretariat of this umbrella Croatian emigrants' organisation said on Wednesday.
The convention is expected to address the objectives and tasks of HSK, Croatia's most numerous non-governmental organisation which is active on all continents, as well as discuss how past objectives and tasks have been effected. HSK president Simun Sito Soric said informal meetings with government members and other Croatian public and cultural officials would be held during the Zagreb convention in view of advancing Croatia's ties with its emigrants. The Croatian emigration numbers 3.5 million Croats and citizens of Croatian origin living in some 60 countries. HSK at present comprises 29 national congresses from 29 states with a significant Croatian emigration.(hina) ha mm
