ZAGREB, June 21 (Hina) - Representatives of Diners Club Croatia and the wife of US Ambassador to Croatia, Lynn Montgomery, on Tuesday signed a letter of intent on a donation for mine removal in two southern Croatian villages. The
document was signed at the President's Office in the presence of President Stipe Mesic. According to the letter of intent, Diners Club Croatia will donate one million kuna for mine removal in Croatia, and the US Embassy will add another million. This is a significant donation for the largest humanitarian action in Croatia today, said the president of the Diners Club Croatia management, Zarko Kraljevic. Some three million German marks is needed for the removal of mines in Cista Mala and Cista Velika in the Sibenik hinterland.
