purchased via a World Bank loan. The vehicles, worth 7.5 million kuna (US$949,000), are intended for the Dubrovnik area, a region of frequent summer bushfires. Besides Dubrovnik, the vehicles were allocated to the municipalities of Orebic and Vela Lika, the Mljet peninsula and the island of Mljet, while two were given to an Interior Ministry intervention unit.(hina) ha jn
